Eco Kids Planet Protectors After School Enrichment Program
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new after school enrichment program!
Since 2017, hundreds of children have enjoyed learning about nature and the environment through our South Bay Eco Kids Summer Camp. Now, for the 2025 – 2026 school year, we will be bringing this same award-winning programming to students enrolled in Redondo Beach Unified schools.
This fall, we will be at Beryl Elementary, followed by winter and spring sessions at Washington Elementary. Each session will run for 10 weeks, with a one-hour session per week.
Session 1: Beryl Elementary
2025 Dates: 9/9, 9/16, 9/25, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/13
(NOTE: All of these dates are Tuesdays, except for 9/25 and 11/13, which are Thursdays)

Program overview
Through engaging, hands-on activities, we teach children the importance of a healthy environment, why it needs protection, and how they can help every day. Our program focuses on three core themes:
- Ecosystem Services: What are some of the many ways that we depend on nature each and every day?
- Human Impacts (Grades 4 and 5 only): How is human activity harming nature and the ecosystem services we depend on?
- Eco-Conscious Kid: What can we do to minimize these impacts and protect nature each and every day?
These concepts are explored through games, crafts, demonstrations, and real-world activities.
Pricing Information
- $200 per session
- +2.2% charge for credit card payments
Refund Policy
Cancellations received:
- up until one week prior to the start of your session: 50% refund
- less than one week prior to the start of your session: NO REFUNDS
Reserve Your Child’s Spot
Please fill out the form below to reserve a spot for your child(ren). Enrollment is limited to 18 students, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once we reach capacity, additional registrations will be placed on a wait list, and you will be notified accordingly.
If your child secures a spot, you’ll receive a follow-up email with instructions for payment and a form requesting additional information. To finalize enrollment, both payment and the completed Information & Consent Form must be submitted.
