Since 2017, South Bay Eco Kids has welcomed hundreds of children to our award-winning summer camp at Wilderness Park in Redondo Beach. Now, we’re expanding into birthday parties, bringing the fun of nature-themed celebrations to the park.
Looking for the perfect birthday party for your nature-loving kid? You’ve found it!
What?
We have two packages to choose from. Both are designed for kids who love nature, with one focused exclusively on nature appreciation, and the other including an aspect of environmental protection as well.
Package A: Nature Appreciation for Nature Lovers
Got a kiddo who loves nature? With an emphasis on nature appreciation, this package will delight the birthday kid who 
loves to be outside playing in nature.
Package B: Nature Appreciation for Tree Huggers
This package is just a bit more educational, for the birthday kid who loves nature and is passionate about protecting it.
Both packages include one or more of the following: a game, a scavenger hunt, a nature discovery activity, and a craft (which makes a great party favor!)
Who?
- Our parties are designed for groups of 15 children or fewer
- In order to get the most out of the experience, we recommend our parties for children ages 7 – 10

Where?
- Wilderness Park, located at 1102 Camino Real, Redondo Beach CA 90277
Wilderness Park has four camp sites to choose from. We recommend Elm Camp or Sycamore Camp, but any will work great for a birthday party.
When?
- South Bay Eco Kids is available for birthday party bookings Saturday and Sunday throughout the year
- For the camp site, the City of Redondo Beach has a 3-hour minimum, with two 3-hour sessions to choose from: 10:00am – 1:00pm or 1:30pm – 4:30pm. If you’d like a longer party, there is also an option to book your site from 10:00am – 4:30pm.
How Much?
- 2 hours…$250 (includes at least 5 activities)
- 3 hours…$350 (includes at least 7 activities)
- In addition, the City of Redondo Beach charges $25/hour (+ a 3% fee) to book the camp site
